We are recruiting staff to help provide exceptional support to our private clients in their own homes. You will be fully supported throught the on-boarding prgramme including Care Certificate Training, Induction, Shadowing and Sign-off (all paid-for). Being a Care Assistant means that you are able to help our clients remain independent and happy in their own homes. It also means that you can help them maintain their rights of choice, privacy and dignity and use your skills to help support them with things they might find more difficult such as preparing meals or administering medication. About the role: To promote client’s rights, choice, independence, individuality, privacy and dignity. To treat clients with respect and keep them safe. To provide exceptional quality domiciliary home care support to clients in their own homes. This could include: Personal Care, Showering / Bathing Dressing and getting ready for the day ahead or preparing for bedtime Medication Management Companionship Help at mealtimes, planning and preparing meals Shopping, trips out, appointments and social activities Domestic tasks Meaningful activity such as reading, singing, dancing, puzzles and Reminiscence Therapy Key Responsibilities: To provide exceptional quality care to clients as outlined in the Care Plan To monitor and report changes in client’s condition To keep clear and accurate records on our Care Management App Key Qualities: • Kind, professional and caring • Commitment to maintain very high standards of care • Excellent communication skills • Reliable, adaptable and flexible • Compassion and empathy with clients • Self-motivated with excellent time management
