Dementia Care in Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot

At Nest Homecare, we understand that dementia does not define a person and and we ensure that our staff and personalised Care Plans are flexible and adaptable in order to help clients have the most positive experience.

It's all about providing Person-centred care

At Nest Homecare we understand the effects that dementia can have on some-one's life and how it impacts their experiences.
Our Care Assistants are selected on their ability to see things from the perspective of the person with dementia and so they can focus on life history, personality, likes, dislikes and how the person feels rather than what they remember.
We constantly provide experience-based training to all staff so there is continual improvement in our learning. Nest Homecare will support your loved one to take part in stimulating activities that they enjoy - helping them remain independent, happy and safe whether that's looking at old photos and memorabilia or a visit to the shops.
Every person is different, and dementia affects each person in a different way.

A tailored plan for your exact needs

Our main priority is to treat every client as an individual which is why we will tailor a care plan to your exact needs. We work with national and local organisations, such as The Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK to help train and develop our Care Team so we can provide person-centred care. It is our goal to provide the very best support to clients and their families. We are active within the local community supporting people with dementia by taking part in fundraising activities. Many of our Care Team members are Dementia Friends Champions and we frequently hold Dementia Friends sessions enabling our staff, local businesses to become Dementia Friends themselves - something we are extremely passionate about.
